How to read the Fingering Chart:
The notes on the staff are the notes for the French Horn.
Below is a fingering chart with the lowest notes in bass clef.
The numbers correspond to your fingers.
1= First Finger
2= Middle Finger
3= Ring Finger
T= Thumb Trigger
The top finger combination is for the F side of the horn.
The bottom combination is for the Bb side of the horn.
(T13 = Trigger first+ ring finger)
Many pitches have many possible fingering combinations. Use the best for each situation.
